The App, and What There Is to Download
The short version: there is nothing to download. Thundr Mobile runs in your phone browser — and if you want it to behave like an app, your phone can do that in two taps.
The short answer
There is no app store listing and no APK. Thundr Mobile is a website: you open thundr.mobi in the browser already on your phone and you are in. No install step, no update to chase, no icon you have to explain to anyone who picks up your phone.
What your phone can do is put a Thundr Mobile icon on your home screen. That is a browser feature — a shortcut that opens the site full-screen, without the address bar, so it looks and starts like an app. Nothing is downloaded and nothing takes up storage.
Adding it on iPhone
- Open thundr.mobi in Safari.
- Tap the Share button in the bottom bar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The icon appears with your other apps.
It has to be Safari — on iPhone, other browsers cannot add a site to the home screen.
Adding it on Android
- Open thundr.mobi in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app, depending on your Chrome version).
- Confirm. The icon appears in your app drawer.
Chrome also offers this by itself after you have used the site a couple of times. Samsung Internet and Firefox have the same option in their own menus.
Why there is no app store version
Two honest reasons, and neither is that we have not got round to it.
A browser asks for less. An installed app can request contacts, location, notifications and background access, and most people tap through those prompts without reading them. A website gets one thing: the camera and microphone, only while a call is running, and only after you allow it.
Nothing is left behind. Close the tab and it is over. There is no package on your phone, no entry in a purchase history, and no icon to remove later. For a product people use privately, that is a feature and not a compromise.
If you find something calling itself our app
We do not publish an APK anywhere. Any file offered as a "Thundr Mobile APK" or "Thundr app download" did not come from us, and we would ask you not to install it. The only place Thundr Mobile exists is this website.
