Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Thundr Mobile. Written to be read, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

Last reviewed 24 August 2026

In short: you must be 18 or older; be decent to people; calls are paid from a prepaid coin balance and digital purchases are generally not refundable; you keep the rights to your own content; and breaking the rules can cost you your account. The detail below is what actually governs — this summary does not.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Thundr Mobile at thundr.mobi — including video calls, messaging, profiles, purchases and every other feature of the service. By using it, you agree to them.

The Community Guidelines, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy form part of this agreement. If you do not accept all of it, do not use the service.

Thundr Mobile is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to thundr.com or any other similarly named service, and nothing in these terms creates any relationship with them.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the minimum age where you live is higher. By using the service you confirm that you meet that requirement.

You must also have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and you must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law or by a previous suspension.

Accounts found to belong to anyone under the minimum age are removed, without notice and without refund of any unused balance.

3. Your account

  • Your account is yours alone. Do not share it, sell it, transfer it, or let anyone else use it.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account, including for activity by anyone you gave access to.
  • Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has access.
  • Information you provide must be accurate, and you must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

4. What the service is

Thundr Mobile provides live 1-on-1 video calls in a web browser, along with messaging, profiles and related features. Browsing the site and viewing who is available is free; calls are paid, as set out in §6.

The service is provided as it is at the time you use it. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn, and availability may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Live video depends on your device, your browser and your network connection, none of which we control.

We do not guarantee that anyone in particular will be available, that a call will be of any given quality, or that you will have any particular experience.

5. Acceptable use

The full rules are in the Community Guidelines and they are binding. In summary, you must not:

  • Use the service if you are under 18, or involve any minor in any way
  • Show nudity or sexual content, or direct sexual content at someone who has not asked for it
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse anyone
  • Share another person’s private information, or record someone in order to expose or blackmail them
  • Ask anyone for money, gift cards, crypto, or payment of any kind
  • Advertise, recruit, or promote other services
  • Impersonate anyone, including Thundr Mobile staff
  • Broadcast pre-recorded video as though it were live
  • Use bots or automation, or run multiple accounts to evade a block or suspension
  • Break any law that applies to you or to the person you are talking to
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, probe, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service

If someone behaves this way toward you, use the block and report tools — they exist precisely for this, and reporting is more useful than retaliating.

6. Coins, calls and payments

How paying works

Paid features run on coins, which you buy in advance. Each host sets their own rate for a video call, and the call spends from the balance you already hold. The service may also offer VIP membership, virtual gifts, premium features and other digital goods; their prices, descriptions and rules are shown on the relevant purchase or account pages.

There is no subscription unless you explicitly buy one, and no card is charged for anything you did not start.

Processing

Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers, whose own terms apply to the transaction. We do not necessarily store full payment card details.

Refunds

  • Coins, virtual items and digital benefits have no cash value unless applicable law requires otherwise, and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Completed purchases of digital goods, and services already consumed, are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where a specific product rule says so.
  • Where you have a statutory right to a refund or cancellation, that right applies regardless of anything in this section.
  • If you think you were charged in error, email [email protected] with the date and amount and we will look at it.

Payment abuse

Fraudulent transactions, chargeback abuse, or suspected unauthorised use may result in cancelled orders, feature limits, account review, or suspension. Access to purchased benefits can depend on your account remaining in good standing.

7. Content and rights

You keep the rights to content you lawfully create and upload — your photos, your profile, what you say. By uploading it you grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to host, display, process, moderate, store and distribute that content within the service and its related operation. That licence exists so the product can function; it ends for new uses when you delete the content, subject to §7 of the Privacy Policy on retention.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not copy, redistribute, scrape or exploit platform assets — the software, design, branding and content of the service — without permission.

Public content such as a profile may be visible to others and may be indexed by search engines. Removing it here does not immediately remove it from search results.

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contact [email protected] with enough detail to identify the content and your claim.

8. Enforcement

Where these terms or the Community Guidelines are broken, we may issue a warning, limit features, suspend an account temporarily, or suspend it permanently — scaled to the severity of what happened and whether it has happened before. Severe cases skip that ladder.

We may also review or freeze an account, cancel transactions or reverse platform-side grants where the law and applicable rules permit, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with legitimate legal or regulatory requests.

Creating a new account to evade a suspension is itself a violation.

9. Privacy

What we collect and what we do with it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement. Cookies are covered in the Cookie Policy.

10. Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranties of any kind about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

We do not vet the people you talk to beyond the checks described on the safety page. Anything someone tells you during a call is theirs, not ours, and we do not verify it. Use the safety tools and your judgement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are broken, where the law requires it, or where continuing would create a security or fraud risk.

When access ends, unused coins and virtual items have no cash value and are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise. Some data may be removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, while certain records may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or enforcement.

12. Disputes and your local law

Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law of the country you live in. Consumer-protection rules in your own country apply to you whatever this document says, and where those rules give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, you keep it.

Most problems are a billing error, a moderation decision or a bug, and all three are settled faster by email than by anyone's legal department. So before starting a formal claim, write to [email protected] from the address on your account and set out what happened and what you want done about it. We will work through it with you in good faith. This is a request, not a precondition — it does not delay or waive any right you have.

We do not require you to give up a jury trial, to arbitrate, or to waive taking part in a class action. If that ever changes, it will be stated here in plain language and signposted as a material change under section 13, not slipped in.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes or the law requires. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed, and material changes will be signposted. Continuing to use the service after an update means accepting the updated terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
